Resuming Development?
Ohoilman12 here, I was wondering when/if Bedrock was going to resume development. If anybody knows, please let me know by emailing ohoilman12@gmail.com. Thanks!
Update
Hello again! Happy holidays!
Well, I've started work on Bedrock again. I'm excited for the next version, because it's going to have a bunch of key features:
- Ability to select blocks with the mouse
- Mark blocks to be removed (and maybe added) by units
- Ability to tell the unit where to go
- A simple HUD
- Ability to save/load worlds, and a loading screen
- Some basic ores (maybe)
I am also planning to implement some dramatic rendering optimizations. (I'll provide the details if people are interested.) Right now, Bedrock is running at 10-15 FPS for me, and I plan to get that up to at least 60.

Now, I'm not a great artist, and I am too lazy to make some images myself, so I want you guys to help me. If you have any ideas for stone, clay, rocky clay, grass, or any other block, let me know!
First blog post
Hey, guys! Welcome to my blog! I plan to post information on development progress and any other stuffs here. For this first post, I guess I'll just talk about what main features I want to have in the game.
I am planning to have it be a destructible block world, like Minecraft, where the gameplay is somewhat open-ended. One key feature will be that instead of controlling a single player, you will have to control a group of units indirectly. This would be done by posting global tasks to complete (such as "mine out this area" or "chop down this tree" or "move supplies here"). The units would each have a specific set of tasks they are allowed to. Also, the more a unit does a certain task, the faster/better they would get at doing it.
I am also pl…
